The fixed lower attachment hole keeps the device aligned with the climber’s axis, optimizing grip and stability. Additionally, the upper attachment hole can accommodate the rope end for doubled ropes or a CHICANE auxiliary braking device for single-rope use. An auxiliary hole allows connection of a ZILLON lanyard or a second system for enhanced versatility. ZIGZAG works on single or doubled ropes, compatible with EN 1891 low-stretch kernmantel ropes (11.5–13 mm). With the CHICANE accessory, it provides additional friction during descent, and the KNEE ASCENT assemblies make ascents more efficient.
