The EGO ST1610E Battery Grass Trimmer – Bare Tool is a high-performance cordless strimmer designed to make grass cutting, lawn edging and vegetation trimming easier and more efficient. Powered by EGO’s advanced 56 V ARC Lithium™ battery system (battery and charger not included), this trimmer delivers strong cutting performance with minimal noise, vibration and maintenance — offering petrol-class power in a cordless package.
Featuring Powerload™ automatic line loading technology, the ST1610E eliminates the frustration of winding line manually. Simply feed the dual 2.4 mm twist line into the head and press the Powerload button — the tool automatically loads your trimmer line and gets you trimming faster. Combined with Line IQ™ auto-feed, this trimmer intelligently feeds line as needed without bumping the head on the ground.
The trimmer boasts a 40 cm (16″) cutting swathe, allowing you to cover more ground with every pass. A brushless motor and two-speed digital control ensure smooth power delivery and longer runtime, while the telescopic aluminium shaft and quick-adjust loop handle provide ergonomic comfort and ease of use for extended sessions.
At approximately 3.4 kg (without battery), this cordless line trimmer remains lightweight and well-balanced for both novice and experienced gardeners. Supplied with a single-shoulder harness, it’s ideal for trimming lawns, edges, borders and hard-to-reach spots in small to large gardens.

You will receive an email letting you know when your order has been dispatched. Once your order has been dispatched, the delivery will be attempted twice on consecutive days. If the carriers need to try a third attempt, you may be liable for a re-delivery charge.
We use a courier service to deliver larger items, which normally requires a signature. If you are likely to be out when our delivery is due, you may enter delivery instructions (e.g. ‘Please leave order in porch’) in the order notes as you check out. However, if you do ask for goods to be left on your property while you are out, the courier will be unable to get a signature, so this is at your own risk.
