Durable 1.25 m Teufelberger fimblSAVER cambium saver with steel thimbles — smooth rope travel and reliable protection for both climbing rope and tree bark.
Available on back-order
The fImblSAVER from TEUFELBERGER is a high-performance cambium saver for tree care work in the canopy. It uses stainless steel thimbles to keep the rope running smoothly and to increase durability during climbing.
This system adds new technical features and complements TEUFELBERGER’s cambium saver range. It also bridges the gap between the multiSAVER and the pulleySAVER.
The stainless steel thimbles (fImbl) guide the climbing rope and reduce friction. The friction remains only slightly higher than with a pulleySAVER. A 10 cm tapered seam allows quick and easy retrieval. You can install the system from the ground, which saves time and improves safety.
The fImblSAVER offers strong construction and long service life. It also delivers a high breaking load, making it a reliable choice for demanding arborist work.
What it is used for:
Arborists use the fImblSAVER to protect trees and improve climbing efficiency. The device sits around a branch or anchor point and creates a barrier between the rope and the bark. This prevents damage to the cambium layer and reduces rope wear.
The smooth surface lets climbers move easily through the canopy. It supports efficient ascent, descent, and repositioning. This helps during pruning, dismantling, inspections, and general maintenance.
You can install the fImblSAVER from the ground, which reduces setup time and effort. It works with both stationary rope systems (SRT) and moving rope systems (MRT), giving climbers flexibility in their technique.
Overall, the fImblSAVER improves safety, protects tree health, extends rope life, and increases efficiency during climbing operations.
