The Henchman Hi-Step Ladder is designed for gardeners, landscapers, and arborists who need a safe, stable platform to complete large jobs efficiently. Each leg adjusts individually by up to 2 ft, allowing the platform to remain level on dips, bumps, slopes, or steps. The unique large, flat feet provide maximum traction and prevent sinking on soft ground, while fine adjustments ensure your ladder stays rock-solid in any condition.
Safety comes first: guard rails enclose the platform, keeping your centre of gravity within the splayed footprint. This prevents toppling and allows you to lean confidently in any direction. The generous platform size lets you cut large sections of hedges or perform other tasks without repeatedly repositioning the ladder. For enhanced reach, long-reach tools can be used safely.
Versatile height adjustment: the adjustable legs allow the platform height to extend by up to 2 ft, making it easy to work at various levels. You can further increase versatility with the Hi-Step Extender (optional), which adds 3 ft / 0.9 m of height to tackle even taller jobs.

To avoid ordering the wrong sized ladder, it’s important you know exactly how high you need to reach before you order.
For example, if you’re using your ladder to trim hedges, we suggest picking one that’s more or less the same height as that hedge.

Orders placed by 2pm will be processed & dispatched the same working day (subject to stock availability).
You will receive an email letting you know when your order has been dispatched. Once your order has been dispatched, the delivery will be attempted twice on consecutive days. If the carriers need to try a third attempt, you may be liable for a re-delivery charge.
We use a courier service to deliver larger items, which normally requires a signature. If you are likely to be out when our delivery is due, you may enter delivery instructions (e.g. ‘Please leave order in porch’) in the order notes as you check out. However, if you do ask for goods to be left on your property while you are out, the courier will be unable to get a signature, so this is at your own risk.
