Engineers developed the Eccentric using direct feedback from professional climbers. The updated shape enhances performance while maintaining the compact, lightweight profile that made the original Hitch Climber a staple in tree climbing setups. Its striking aesthetic reflects its precision engineering and professional-grade construction.
The redesigned geometry improves friction hitch management. Integrated “pushing plates” help advance your hitch earlier during ascent, improving climbing flow and reducing unnecessary effort. Optimised fairlead flares guide the rope cleanly toward the sheave when tending slack. This ensures smoother rope alignment and better overall efficiency in moving rope systems (MRS) and doubled rope techniques (DdRT).
A large sheave fitted with a high-efficiency roller bearing reduces friction and promotes smooth rope travel under load. The stainless steel axle increases durability and long-term reliability in demanding arborist environments. Together, these features create a pulley that supports consistent performance during climbing, positioning and work manoeuvres.

You will receive an email letting you know when your order has been dispatched. Once your order has been dispatched, the delivery will be attempted twice on consecutive days. If the carriers need to try a third attempt, you may be liable for a re-delivery charge.
We use a courier service to deliver larger items, which normally requires a signature. If you are likely to be out when our delivery is due, you may enter delivery instructions (e.g. ‘Please leave order in porch’) in the order notes as you check out. However, if you do ask for goods to be left on your property while you are out, the courier will be unable to get a signature, so this is at your own risk.
