The Captain features a self-locating, high-strength hook engineered for reliable placement on remote anchors. Its carefully shaped profile helps guide the hook into position quickly and securely. As a result, users can establish stable anchor points more easily when working in complex structures.
A key feature of the design is the pivoting D shackle. This component helps destabilise the hook if it is presented incorrectly. Consequently, it encourages correct orientation and improves the reliability of the hook placement.
The shackle also works with the sculpted hook design to assist with controlled sideways movement. Therefore, the tool is particularly useful when traversing between anchor points or working across structures.
Once correctly positioned, the Captain provides an impressive rated strength of 23 kN, depending on the anchor used. This strong and dependable performance makes it suitable for demanding rope access and arborist applications.

You will receive an email letting you know when your order has been dispatched. Once your order has been dispatched, the delivery will be attempted twice on consecutive days. If the carriers need to try a third attempt, you may be liable for a re-delivery charge.
We use a courier service to deliver larger items, which normally requires a signature. If you are likely to be out when our delivery is due, you may enter delivery instructions (e.g. ‘Please leave order in porch’) in the order notes as you check out. However, if you do ask for goods to be left on your property while you are out, the courier will be unable to get a signature, so this is at your own risk.
