Mechanic In A Bottle Petrol Test Swabs offer a quick and simple way to test your petrol. It takes less than 3 minutes to complete and the swabs provide a visual indication as to the condition of your petrol – Fresh, Marginal, or Bad allowing you to see if it is suitable to use in your engines.
If you previously mixed a 2-stroke mixture, you can use these fuel testing swabs to find out if the mixture is still safe to use in your 2-stroke machinery.

Directions:
Step 1: Submerge swab into the fuel for 5 seconds.
Step 2: Shake swab; let dry for 2-3 minutes. (Do not exceed this time)
Step 3: Compare to petrol test chart within the packaging. (Indicator colour takes several more minutes to develop for 2-Stroke mixed fuel).
Orders placed by 2pm will be processed & dispatched the same working day (subject to stock availability).
You will receive an email letting you know when your order has been dispatched. Once your order has been dispatched, the delivery will be attempted twice on consecutive days. If the carriers need to try a third attempt, you may be liable for a re-delivery charge.
We use a courier service to deliver larger items, which normally requires a signature. If you are likely to be out when our delivery is due, you may enter delivery instructions (e.g. ‘Please leave order in porch’) in the order notes as you check out. However, if you do ask for goods to be left on your property while you are out, the courier will be unable to get a signature, so this is at your own risk.
