The Petzl SEQUOIA® Tree Care Harness delivers comfort, stability, and efficiency for arborists who use doubled-rope climbing techniques. It supports long working hours in the canopy and helps you stay organised and mobile throughout the job.
Petzl designed this harness with a wide, semi-rigid waistbelt and leg loops. These parts distribute weight evenly and improve positioning. Foam padding lines the harness to increase comfort during suspension.
The SEQUOIA® uses an attachment bridge that allows smooth lateral movement. This design gives you better freedom when working around the tree. Mobile side attachment points follow the direction of your lanyard, which improves balance and control.
You can connect equipment quickly using the gated attachment points. These points allow direct connection of a Petzl ZILLON or Petzl MICROFLIP lanyard. You can also install multiple bridges or accessories such as rings or swivels.
The harness includes a FAST buckle on the waistbelt for quick fastening. You can secure or release it easily, even while wearing gloves. The leg loops feature FAST LT PLUS buckles, which lock securely and reduce the risk of accidental opening.
DOUBLEBACK buckles let you adjust the bridge height with precision. This helps you find a comfortable working position. Protective covers keep the buckles secure during use.
The SEQUOIA® also makes tool organisation simple. It includes nine pre-shaped equipment loops, so you can carry gear efficiently. Five dedicated slots allow you to attach CARITOOL holders. Two retainers hold a carabiner for chainsaws or handsaws. An elastic loop lets you secure a first aid kit.
You can attach an optional seat for extra comfort during long periods of suspension. This makes the harness ideal for pruning, dismantling, and extended tree work.
Petzl builds the SEQUOIA® using durable materials such as nylon, polyester, polyethylene, aluminium, and steel. The harness meets CE EN 358 and CE EN 813 standards. It also carries UKCA and EAC certifications, ensuring it meets professional safety requirements.

Orders placed by 2pm will be processed & dispatched the same working day (subject to stock availability).
You will receive an email letting you know when your order has been dispatched. Once your order has been dispatched, the delivery will be attempted twice on consecutive days. If the carriers need to try a third attempt, you may be liable for a re-delivery charge.
We use a courier service to deliver larger items, which normally requires a signature. If you are likely to be out when our delivery is due, you may enter delivery instructions (e.g. ‘Please leave order in porch’) in the order notes as you check out. However, if you do ask for goods to be left on your property while you are out, the courier will be unable to get a signature, so this is at your own risk.
